Next Class March 10-12, 2017
Open to anyone from absolute beginners to intermediate trimmers, for anyone who wants to try trimming and /or learn more about trimming and how to keep a horse sound barefoot for life. For those who want to take an active role in their horses hoof and overall care, do some work with the rasp between formal trims or advance themselves forward to full care at some time. These workshops are for you to take when you need a refresher and you need some advancement or guidance. We keep classes small and personal to assure maximum guided participation per person. We hope to see you soon.
How far can I go? When do you know when to stop? What to look for? While trimming we are discussing living conditions and all the aspects it really takes to get and maintain a super foot! No foot, No horse is a popular adage but few know the secrets to the successful transition, maintenance and building of the super foot.
We also look at boots vs shoes and NO metal and nail options for hoof protection. Learn to assess and see what needs trimming…and what doesn’t!
How does this trim affect the horse? come and learn and see and feel the difference that and EQ trim approach makes to the inner foot and the horse as a whole.
Like learning to ride, it is important to keep yourself under periodic guidance and these classes do just that. Help you advance and stay the course.
